Appeal for Support: Appeal to the Cameroonian Diaspora
Today and in the foreseeable future, Cameroon like the rest of the world is being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. From the health and well-being of their families, employment, businesses to the overall economy, our people are and will be tremendously affected. The challenges ahead are enormous and the thought action is overwhelming yet inaction is not an option.
Last week saw a significant rise in confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Cameroon with 200 cases recorded on April 3rd alone. Sadly last week also recorded the death of the first Healthcare worker in Cameroon.
As a result we are beginning an effort to procure equipment that could serve to protect healthcare workers who are in the frontline of the fight against this virus. Our goal is to raise a significant amount of money that will enable us to procure Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for distribution in Cameroon. These items will include coveralls, masks, gloves, shoe covers and face shields.
There is so much to be done but we recognize that we cannot do everything. Focusing on healthcare workers is strengthening our ability to fight the virus and save lives.
We need your help:
For every $25 contribution you make you will save a life. With every $100 you will save 4 lives. The multiplier effect of each live saved is exponential. You will save thousand of lives.
