This is in any case what reveals the communiqué signed by the main Cameroonian company in charge of water supply in Cameroon and therefore in the city of Douala too.
The press release informs that it is a breakdown in the production station that is the cause of this noticed in these districts and where the shortage that lasts has become recurrent and even habitual for the populations.
Further on, the Camwater press release states that this shortage can only be resolved with the return of electrical energy, which is also very often capricious due to these untimely cuts, the service will be re-established, says the press release.
And to remedy the situation, trucks will be made available to supply the families of the 21 districts affected by the lack of water and or pressure drop.
It should be noted that these 21 neighborhoods of Douala are not the only ones to suffer from this situation of lack of water in Cameroon. It is a situation that in 2021 is if not the most vecue by the Cameroonian populations … As is the case also in Garoua in the North region.
