The event featured sports competitions, including football and handball, as well as a traditional dance competition and a gastronomic exhibition showcasing the cuisine of the Weh people.
The event aimed to raise funds for the construction of a youth center in Weh in the north west region providing training in vocational skills to young people who dropped out of school during the crisis in the North-West and South-West regions.
Innovations and high-profile visitors
The ceremony was held during the day, marking a departure from previous years. The presence of the representative of the Governor of the Littoral Region Ebune Nicoline head of division of development and the Chief of Weh, His Majesty Fon Mbuh 2, underscored the importance of the event.
The celebration was a success, with participation from many delegations and the presence of administrative authorities. Winners of the traditional dance competition were awarded prizes.

Weh youth are committed to promote peace and culture in the north west region, with the support of the President of the Weh Youth Association Mister Ateh Lang Dieudonné Kah .The presence of the representative of the Governor of the Littoral Region shows the authorities commitment in supporting Youth and culture
